CONFERENCE CENTER WEST ATTICA UNIVERSITY
The Conference & Cultural Center was built in the Ancient Olive Grove Campus on P. Ralli and Thivon streets in Aigaleo, within the boundaries of the historic olive grove of Athens where the ancient Athenian philosophers taught. In a peaceful environment with countless olive trees and elegant gardens, the Conference & Cultural Center has been developed on four levels with a total area of approximately 5,000 sq.m. with a capacity to host up to 1,500 delegates.
It includes spaces offered for conferences, seminars, workshops, lectures, work meetings, exhibitions and cultural events, while it has specialized and experienced technical staff to support the events. More specifically, the Conference & Cultural Center has:
A central amphitheater with a capacity of 500 seats with suitable infrastructure to host both conference and artistic events. The central Amphitheater is at the heart of the complex and offers a spacious stage for conferences as well as creative events, comfortable auxiliary spaces on both sides of the stage, sophisticated screen projection systems, impressive lighting with the possibility of multiple scenarios, as well as perfect acoustic performance (a special acoustic study has been prepared to adjust the reverberation time). It has a microphone installation system, a simultaneous translation system in several languages, while at the same time it operates an audio-visual system for “live” broadcasts.
Six parallel conference rooms with a capacity of up to 150 people each in a theatrical layout. Also, two of them can be combined and host up to 400 people in a theatrical arrangement. Each room has its own storage space and projection screen. There is also the possibility of direct external access to the rooms.
Five ancillary rooms, exhibition spaces and reception areas, totaling 500 sq.m., with an impressive architectural design, dominated by skylights and excellent quality flooring. Three translation booths, as well as an automatic translation system in 3 languages at the same time, a foyer with high aesthetic decoration, areas for press interviews, areas for the installation of a secretariat, offices for the organizational needs of events, spacious elevators and stairs, as well as automatic lighting in the common areas spaces that make movement comfortable.
All of the rooms have movable conference seats and tables and can accommodate a variety of configurations. The Convention Center has parking for 1,000 cars and coaches, truck access and provides all facilities to cater for disabled people.
The Conference-Cultural Center has full equipment for hosting conferences and cultural events. For the hosting of musical events, it has a “wooden acoustic shell” that creates a single whole with the rest of the hall. More specifically, the space has:

How to come to the conference
By car
The conference center has a parking lot with 1,000 spaces. Coming from the center of Athens and on Petrou Ralli Ave. (Πέτρου Ράλλη), turn right at the Χαρμάνης store. The second entrance is located on the rise of Thivon Avenue (Λεωφ. Θηβών) directly opposite JUMBO mega store.
