Marco Celani, 49, is the CEO of Italianway since 2016, the leading operator on the Italian short-term rental market for the number of destinations and contracted properties.

Since 2020 he is President of the Italian Association of Short Rentals Managers, AIGAB, founded by the big players in the sector in order to provide institutional representation to property managers, analyze data and encourage the creation of a solid network of entrepreneurs that can help grow the market.

He is often invited as a lecturer in post-graduate Masters in Tourism Economics and Management and as a speaker at major national and international events dedicated to the vacation rental industry.

He thinks that it is only through adequate professionalization, through structured training, that Italian property managers will be able to win the challenge of the sustainability of this business.
